New regulations in respect to border crossing have been issued by the Department of Labor, according to an announcement by the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society.

In regard to border crossing the new rules provide that citizens or aliens living on either side of the border and wishing to cross on business or pleasure must provide themselves with identification cards for which application must be made.

Identification cards must be renewed from time to time and can be taken up or canceled within the discretion of the immigration officials.
