An appeal made by Rabbi Philip Kleinman of Temple Beth El at a Kol Nidre sermon on Yom Kippur brought contributions of 1,300 for the scholarship fund of the Beth El Hebrew school. The fund will enable the school to provide free tuition for children of parents unable to pay.
