Conservative synagogues throughout the country will observe next Saturday “Home Sabbath,” it was announced Friday by Dr. Elias Solomon of New York, chairman of the National Committee on the ‘Enrichment of Home Life,’ of the United Synagogue of America.

This will be first of a series of special Sabbaths during November designed to emphasize various phases of the religious life of American Jewry.

Rabbis will devote their sermons the first Sabbath in November to the importance of the home as the bulwark of every aspect of human life. In addition the auxiliaries of the congregations, the Women’s Leagues, the Men’s Clubs, and the Young People’s League will arrange special programs dedicated to the home.
