Demanding a larger number of immigration certificates for Turkish Jews, a deputation of former Jewish residents of Turkey interviewed I. Gruenbaum, director of immigration in the Jewish Agency Executive.

The visitors were accompanied by Abraham Elmalah of the Vaad Leumi Executive. Gruenbaum assured them that his department was about to take measures to assist would-be Turkish Jewish immigrants.
