Erection of a technical institute for metallurgy in Biro-Bidjan was ordered today by the Soviet Commissariat for Mining. Moshe Levitan, director of the Jewish Technical and Engineering Institute in Charkov, Ukraine, was appointed to organize the institute. He will leave for Biro-Bidjan in a few days.
