Dr. Harold P. Morgan, president of the Buffalo Bible Institute, has hurled a third challenge at Dr. William B. Riley, president of the Northwestern Bible School, Minneapolis, to debate the genuineness of the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion.” Dr. Riley has been accused of fomenting hatred of the Jew in church addresses, using the “Protocols” fabrications.
Dr. Morgan, who has lectured on the false accusations contained in the “Protocols” and who has proven them to be base lies and forgeries, also implicates Dr. James M. Gray of the Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, and Dr. Arno Gaebelein, editor of Our Hope and author of books on Biblical exposition, of pursuing the same tactics as Dr. Riley in furthering racial prejudice.
Dr. Riley, who has been conducting a series of meetings in Prospect Avenue Baptist Church under auspices of the Christian Laymen’s Association, points to the Soviet experiment to bear out his claims. He has twice declined a challenge to debate with Dr. Morgan, according to Walter J. Bartz, dean of the Buffalo Bible Institute.
