Drastic measures were taken by government authorities today to suppress an anti-Semitic campaign begun by a part of the Belgian press against Minister of Finance Gutt because he is a Jew.

All newspapers participating in the campaign were warned by the State police to cease attacks based on the fact that the Minister is Jewish, while the premises of the nationalistic newspaper Renovation were raided and the edition on the presses at the time confiscated.
