Three hundred Jewish community centers, Ymha’s and Ywha’s affiliated with the National Jewish Welfare Board will join with other organizations in the celebration of Jewish Arbor Day, which falls this year on Saturday, it was announced yesterday by the board.
In connection with the observance, the board has issued a publication outlining the significance and suggested programs for the day.
The Palestine Committee of the National Association of Jewish Center Workers has recommended to centers that the annual Palestine Day program which it sponsors be carried out on A#bor Day.
