As result of the tremendous increase in immigration to Palestine through this port, Italian shipping companies today announced that additional steamers were being added to the Holy Land run to do away with the crowding on Palestine-bound ships.
A new liner, “Palestine,” which will make the trip to Palestine in four and one half days, will soon be placed in commission, it was announced.
