The introduction of five-and-ten-cent stores in Spain operated by Jews resulted today in serious riots growing out of a demonstration.

The demonstration was organized in front of the one-price store “Sepu” and was led by Fascists. The mob attacked and looted the store before police succeeded in restoring order.

An investigation started by the police authorities established that before the riots began, well dressed Fascists picketed the “Sepu” store, quietly whispering to passersby not to enter it “because it is Jewish.”
