The authorities today prohibited the existence of the Jewish Cultural League and committees whose aim is to promote interest in Biro-Bidjan, autonomous Jewish territory in Soviet Siberia. The official organ of the Jewish Cultural League, “Di Woch,” was ordered to suspend publication.
