A drive to secure a meeting of the British Amateur Athletic Union for the purpose of reconsidering its previous decision to participate in the 1936 Berlin Olympics was launched today by the National Workers Sports Association.
The association cited evidence of “political perversion” of sports in Germany and pointed out that the Reich authorities had prohibited visits of the labor teams to Germany.
