The Central Council of Rumanian Jews prepared today to submit a memorandum to King Carol pointing out that most Jews could not obtain documents to prove citizenship within the time limit set by a decree on revision of naturalizations.

Most Rumanian bar associations have decided to follow the example of the Bucharest organization and suspend Jewish lawyers pending revision of naturalizations. Theodora Karp, well-known woman barrister, and Misu Weissman, vice-president of the Rumanian Jewish Party, were stricken off the Bucharest bar register.

Alexander Abasohn, a Jew and one of the greatest engineering authorities in Rumania, has resigned his position as principal of the Bucharest Polytechnic Institute. Radu Dragnea, editorial writer of the Nationalist paper, Tara Noastra, has been appointed head of the official Rador news agency to replace Dr. Alexander Hurtig, who is Jewish.
