The 34th annual convention of the Independent Order B’rith Sholom, attended by 600 delegates at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, today adopted resolutions calling for establishment of a committee to investigate the activities of groups spreading race hatred, denouncing Communism, Fascism and Nazism, praising President Roosevelt for his assistance to minorities, urging passage of the Wagner-Rogers refugee children’s bill and creating a scholarship at Yeshiva College. Grandmaster Louis Levine last night delivered the annual message at the opening session.
