A religious school recently established in Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv, was wrecked during the night by unidentified persons. Hebrew newspapers expressed the belief that the wreckers were Hebrew-language enthusiasts angered by the fact that the school’s language of tuition was Yiddish. The papers strongly condemn the attack, warning that the “language struggle” must not be conducted with such methods.
