Normal mail service has been established between the newly occupied parts of Poland and those conquered by Germany two years ago. Due to this service, contact has been resumed between the Jewish communities of Galicia and of other parts of Poland and work has been undertaken to reunite members of families separated when one section of Poland was occupied by the Germans and the other section by the Soviets.
