Jewish Soldiers from Palestine Arrive in New York on Special Mission

The first group of Jewish Palestinian soldiers to reach the United States since the outbreak of the war arrived this week in New York, it was announced here today by the Hadassah headquarters.

The group, consisting of six men under British command have come here on a special mission, the announcement said. Sergeant Sinai Leichter is the leader of the group. He is a graduate of the Hebrew University. The six, all Polish born, are between the ages of 24 and 37. Several of them are married.
