Over 200 Jewish Refugees from France Arrive in Baltimore from Lisbon

More than 200 Jewish refugees, most of them from Southern France, arrived in Baltimore today on the Portuguese steamers Pero De “Alenquer and Carvalho Araujo from Lisbon.

The refugees were met at the pier by representatives of the HIAS, who routed them to relatives in different parts of the country.
