Gestapo chief Sommer in Warsaw has been sentenced to death by German military authorities for failing to prevent the outbreak of armed resistance in the Warsaw ghetto, it was reliably reported here today.

It compares the battle in the ghetto with the battle for Stalingrad and emphasizes the fact that Jews fought for each street and for every house before giving ground before superior Nazi forces.
