Dr. Chaim Zhitlovsky, the late Jewish author and philosopher, bequeathed all his manuscripts, archives and library to the Yiddish Scientific Institute, it was announced today. His will also provides that all royalties received from the sale of his works should be equally divided between his widow and the Institute.
The Committee of Jewish Writers and Artists of which Dr. Zhitlovsky was founder and president, today announced that it will publish a special popular-priced memorial edition of his works.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
