The demand that the Jewish people be granted representation at the forthcoming Security Conference of the United Nations in San Francisco was voiced by Beba Idelson, outstanding woman labor leader of Palestine and delegate to the Pioneer Women’s Organization, at a reception and mass meeting held in New York attended by more than 1,500 persons. The Jewish community of Palestine, she declared, would accept no other solution than a “Jewish commonwealth with full political independence and with powers for unlimited immigration.”
