Cornerstone Laid for First Synagogue in Bolivian City, Govt. Officials Attend Ceremony

The cornerstone of the first synagogue in the city of Cochabamba, in the province of Cochabamba in central Bolivia, was laid at a ceremony attended by Government officials and leaders of the recently organized Jewish community there. Isaac Antaki, local business man and philanthropist, acted as chairman.
