Henry F. Grady, alternate for the Secretary of State on the Cabinet Committee on Palestine and Related Problems, accompanied by Dean Acheson, Acting Secretary of State, made his first call on President Truman this afternoon to discuss the problem of organization of the committee.

Grady told reporters on leaving the White House that he thought the committee would leave for London “probably toward the end of July.” He said that the job of the committee war “to implement” the report of the Anglo-American inquiry committee and that they wanted to know as much about the situation as possible before tackling the problem.
