?gyptian Delegate at Inter-parliamentary Parley Urges Punishment for Anti-semites

The Jewish question was raised this week-end at the Inter-Parliamentary Conference now taking place here when Egyptian delegate Butros ?ly Bey urged severe punishment for those “who foment and encourage racial, religious and anti-Semitic campaigns.”

He also called for punishment for persons who discriminate on the basis of religious and racial hatred. However, commenting on the Palestine situation, he ?rged that Jews who fled there to avoid fascist discrimination should be repatriated ?ow. Delegates from 24 nations in Europe, the Middle East and the Americas are participating in the parley.
