Prof. Einstein Withdraws from Brandeis University; Lazrus, Nathan Resign from Board

Professor Albert Einstein announced during the week-end that he has withdrawn his support from Brandeis University, the Jewish-sponsored institution of higher learning to be established in Waltham, Mass. He has also arranged for his name to be removed from the title of the fund raising Foundation for Brandeis University.

Professor Einstein also announced that simultaneously his friends, Professor Otto Nathan and S. Ralph Lazrus, have resigned from the board of trustees and severed their connections with the projected University.
