Increasing numbers of Aral police officers will be used to maintain order in the Arab districts of Israel as soon as circumstances permit, Police Inspector Shitreet announced today. He said that police stations have been opened in Jaffa and Nazareth under Jewish command hut staffed by Arab police.
The Government also announced today that secondary schools for Arab children would be opened in Jaffa in September.
