Asher Beilin, well-known Hebrew and Yiddish playwright, died here at the age of 67. Born in Kiev, Russia, he worked as a newspaperman in Poland, the United States and Palestine. For a short time to was the editor of the Now York Jewish Morning Journal. He also translated into Hebrew Mary Agnes Hamilton’s “Abraham Lincoln.”
