The American Library in Tel Aviv, sponsored by the United States Information Service, was officially opened today. Its purpose is to inform the Israel public of educational, scientific and technical activities in the United States, and its shelves now contain 2,000 volumes in addition to 100 periodicals and various reference works.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
