A demand that passages in religious textbooks which foster religious hatred be eliminated was made here today by former Rumanian Chief Rabbi Alexander Shafran, speaking on behalf of the United Jewish Educational and Cultural Organization. He spoke at the fourth conference of non-governmental organizations, sponsored by the United National Information Department.
