Dr. Simon Greenberg, Provost of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, has been appointed executive director of the United Synagogue of America, it was announced by Samuel Rothstein, president of the organization. Dr. Greenberg assumes his new duties on September 1, and will at the same time continue in his Seminary post.
