The Council of the International Refugee Organization yesterday removed a deadline which had restricted the operation of its program in behalf of refugees. The Council authorized the I.R.O. to continue functioning until its money ran out, rather than cease activities on September 30, as previously decided. It is expected that this will permit the I.R.O. to complete the transfer of refugees to the U.S. if visa deadlines are extended beyond June 30.
