U.N. Fund Allocates $300,000 for Aid to Israel Children

The 26-nation executive board of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund has allocated a $300,000 project to Israel of $637,000 assigned to the entire Middle East.

The Israeli project is for the purchase of equipment for bottling Pasteurized milk, for refrigeration and for equipment for making milk bottles. This is the first milk conservation program aided by UNICEF in the Middle East region.
