Michigan State Senate to Have Two Jewish Brothers As Members

A unique situation will prevail in the Michigan State Senate on January 1 when, for the first time, two brothers will hold seats in the house.

They are Charles and Allen Blondy, both prominent in Detroit Jewish communal life. Charles, a Senate veteran from the 5th District, helped his brother Allen, to win the seat in the 18th District, Both are members of the Democratic minority in the Senate.
