Italian and Swiss vocational education authorities have expressed support of a proposal by Dr. Aaron Syngalowski, chairman of the World ORT Union, that a conference of international specialists on workshop methodology be convened.
The suggestion was made after a visit by several officials of the Italian Ministry of Education to the ORT instructor training institute at Anieres to study the methods used by the ORT. The Italian officials, and Swiss authorities who accompanied them, complained of a general shortage of workshop instructors in their countries.
