Two Arab residents of Nazareth who were arrested in connection with a campaign which the Communist Party is now conducting against continuation of military administration in Israel’s Arab-inhabited border districts, escaped from the office of the military governor, it was revealed here today.

The Communists are inciting the Arabs to carry on strikes and demonstrations and to send delegations to the Israel military and police authorities in the district.

Two Israeli soldiers on a routine border patrol near Beit Jibrin were murdered yesterday and their arms stolen, it was announced here today. Israel has demanded an emergency meeting of the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission to act on the incident.
