Dr. Marcel Schein, a cosmic ray scientist at the University of Chicago, this week-end announced the discovery of a new atomic particle with fantastic energy and the ability to turn matter into energy and then turn that energy into another type of matter. Dr. Schein, who made his discovery while working on a U.S. Naval research project, made his announcement to the American Physical Society here.
