An increase of from 10 to 15 percent over 1954 proceeds is expected by the United Jewish Appeal this year, Dr. Giora Josephthal, Jewish Agency treasurer, told the Agency today, after his return from the United States.

Levi Eshkol, Israel Finance Minister, told the meeting that as a result of his recent trip to Argentina and several other South American countries he was optimistic about the possibilities of increased support. He also reported an increased interest in those countries in Israel investments.
