Americans invested $1,400,000 in building projects in Israel last year through Rassco Israel Corporation, a subsidiary of Rassco-Rural and Suburban Settlement Company, a Jewish Agency-owned Israeli firm, it was reported at the annual meeting of the board of Rassco today. The investments were made by individuals, organizations and corporations.
Reviewing Rassco’s progress in 1955, Isaac Imber, vice-president, said that its business last year had increased 50% over that of 1954. “The outlook for 1956 is still better,” he added. The company plans to expand its activities in Canada this year, Mr. Imber revealed.
