A House-approved supplemental appropriation bill, including a provision released some $3,500,000 in funds for distribution among numerous Israeli cultural, professional, philanthropic and educational institutions was temporarily delayed in the Senate today.
Objections were raised to two other sections of the measure, requiring that it be sent back to a Senate-House Conference to reconcile differing Senate and House views on the two disputed sections.
