World Jewish Groups to Meet in Paris on Anti-semitis, Arab Boycott

Forty leaders in the field of Jewish education representing Jewish communities from six continents will meet in Paris on June 29 and 30 to plan the first international conference on Jewish education, it was announced here today in a statement issued by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, Label Katz and Dr. Joachim Prinz through the Conference of Jewish Organizations.

Two-day sessions of the Conference of Jewish Organizations dealing with political problems will take place in Paris prior to the opening of the preparatory conference on Jewish education. They will open on June 27 and will deal with the Arab boycott, anti-Jewish propaganda and Arab activities, the situation in North Africa and a report on the activities of non-governmental agencies at the United Nations.

The sessions of the COJO will be attended by representatives of the British Board of Jewish Deputies, CREF of France, the Canadian Jewish Congress, the South African Board of Jewish Deputies, DATA of Argentina, the Executive Committee of Australian Jewry, the World Jewish Congress, B’nai B’rith, American Jewish Congress and Jewish Labor Committee. The Jewish Agency will be represented by observers.
