An appeal to the King of Morocco to intervene in the kidnaping of 15-year-old Jeanette Cohen, made by the girl’s parents, failed to bring any action by authorities today.

The parents, who live in Tiznit, south of Agadir, said they believed their daughter was abducted by a Moslem a week ago. They lodged a complaint with the commissioner of police but the police did not make any inquiry. It was then that the desperate parents wrote a moving appeal to the king.
