George Lincoln Rockwell, leader of the “American Nazi party,” was arrested here yesterday on state police charges of registering in a Boston hotel under a false name. Such registration is a violation of the Massachusetts true-name law.
Rockwell and a companion, Roy James, 23, were arrested here when they came to attend a lecture on hate groups. Rockwell was freed in $100 bail. State police said that during a visit to Boston on January 14, Rockwell registered himself as “Nathan Ginsburg.” James, a cook at Rockwell’s Nazi headquarters in Arlington, Va., was not registered at all, state police said.
