Adolf Eichmann said he-was “greatly surprised” by the “fair and decent treatment” he received in his four-month long trial in Jerusalem, which was concluded yesterday, according to the chief of his defense, Dr. Robert Servatius.
Dr. Servatius made that statement today, as he was returning to his home in Cologne, Germany. He is not expected here again until November, when the court that tried Eichmann will announce its verdict. On the same plane with Dr. Servatius was an official delegation from the West German Government, which has been observing the trial on behalf of Bonn.
