One French Jew, Two Israelis Honored by Academies in Paris

Professor Raymond Aron, the French-Jewish sociologist and political commentator, was today elected to the Academic des Sciences Morales et Politiques, one of the five academies of the Institute de France. Prof. Aron was born in Paris 58 years ago.

The French Academy of Medicine named two Israeli physicians today as laureates in recognition of their outstanding research in the field of physical and psychological trauma among concentration camp survivors. The award, one of the highest in the medical world, was awarded jointly to Dr. A. Dvoretsky and Dr. Louis Kopelman. Both are recent immigrants to Israel.
