Red Mogen David Plane Leaving Israel for Biafra with 13 Tons of Supplies

A Dutch plane chartered by the Red Mogen David. Israel’s Red Cross, will take off for Biafra tomorrow with 13 tons of food and medical supplies for the civilian population of Nigeria’s secessionist eastern province. Passengers on the plane will be Itzhak Shani, general manager of the Red Mogen David and Abie Nathan, Israel’s erstwhile one-man peace mission to Egypt, who has been active in Biafran relief efforts.
