The Knesset held memorial services today for the late Premier Levi Eshkol on the occasion of the first anniversary of his death. President Zalman Shazar was present. Speaker of the Knesset Reuben Barkat delivered a eulogy. A minute’s silence was observed and the Knesset adjourned for a half hour before resuming its regular business.
