An extraordinary convention of the Federation of Zionist Students of Latin America was held here yesterday that included representatives from Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Uruguay, Colombia, Costa Rica and Guatemala. The students stated their support of Israel’s efforts for peace in the Middle East and urged the United Nations to intercede on behalf of Soviet Jewry. The convention condemned the Soviet policy of denying Jews the right to emigrate to Israel.
