Two Israeli Soldiers Injured in Grenade Attack; Rockets Fired on Beisan Settlement

Two Israeli soldiers were injured last night when a hand grenade was thrown at them at Dir el Balah in the Gaza Strip. Two terrorist infiltrators from Lebanon were killed in a clash with an Israeli patrol near Biranit in Upper Galilee at midnight last night. There were no Israeli casualties. Three months of quiet along the Jordanian border was ended last night when Katyusha rockets were fired from Jordanian territory at Sdeh Eliyahu settlement in the Beisan area. Members of the settlement took to shelters and there were no casualties. Israeli units returned the fire. Israeli sources said Jordanian units also fired at the terrorists after the rockets were launched.
