Terrorists Kill, Mutilate Body of Defense Ministry Employe

A 24-year-old Defense Ministry employe was murdered this morning by terrorists who mutilated his body. The victim was Joseph Grubber of Haifa, who worked for the Ministry’s construction department. He was killed while inspecting construction work near Alma village, close to the Syrian border. The terrorists dragged his body toward the border, mutilated it and severed his head.

Israeli security forces uncovered two large terrorist aims caches in the Gaza Strip today, one of them yielding the biggest haul of hand grenades ever found in one place. Eighteen Bedouins in the area were arrested and charged with membership in terrorist organizations and sabotage. They were also charged with attacks on Israeli Army patrols. Among the hidden arms discovered were 200 grenades, 105 explosive bricks, 41 mines, 117 detonators, seven automatic submachine guns, six Russian rifles, one Israel-made Uzzi submachine gun and a large quantity of ammunition.
