Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said “very wide gaps” remained on security issues between Israel and the Palestinians. Netanyahu made his remarks to Israel Television after earlier saying that he believed a decision would be made on a further Israeli redeployment from the West Bank by the end of July. But in remarks to Israel Radio, the premier added, “I can’t say this for certain because I can’t dictate what the Palestinians do on their side.”
